Training and Consultation
- Skills training - Customized training is available in the following areas: Information and Referral, Crisis Intervention, Human Service Delivery System and Taxonomy of Human Services.
- Workshops and Presentations - Topics include: Information and Referral, Crisis Intervention, Taxonomy of Human Services and How to Implement Community/State-wide I & R services. Workshops are developed for local, regional, state-wide or national audiences.
- Consultation - One-on-one technical assistance for organizations setting up help-line telephone services.
- Community Education - Professional staff are available to speak to various audiences about Great Rivers 2-1-1 and its Specialty Services.
Telephone Support Services
- 24 hour/7 day a week backup - Customized call answering for community organizations wanting their clients to have 24/7 access. Great Rivers 2-1-1 staff will contact on-call staff, provide linkages, crisis intervention and helpline counseling based on the need of the agency.
- Support group direct linkages - Designed for groups unable to list contact people/phone numbers. Groups can list Great Rivers 2-1-1's number. Staff will then link callers to the appropriate contact people.
