Great Rivers 2-1-1 - Simply Dial 2-1-1 to get help with life
Having been in existence for almost 25 years, Great Rivers 2-1-1, formerly First Call For Help provides a unique role throughout the tri-state area by providing a central access point for people to obtain complete and current information on over 3,500 community and human service programs. Information and Referral Specialists provide linkages to services, brief telephone counseling, and telephone crisis intervention 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Great Rivers 2-1-1 is operated by Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center and funded, in part, through Great Rivers United Way. Great Rivers 2-1-1 serves the following counties in the tri-state area: In Wisconsin - Buffalo, Crawford, Grant, Jackson, La Crosse, Monroe, Richland, Trempealeau, Vernon; in Minnesota - Fillmore, Houston and Winona; and in Iowa - Allamakee, Clayton, Fayette, Howard, Winneshiek.

The Maternal and Child Health Hotline 1-800-722-2295
Information and linkages are available to services for pregnant women and children. Major program areas include Healthy Start, WIC, BadgerCare, Family Planning Waiver Medicaid, HealthCheck, Prenatal Care Coordination, Children with Special Health Care Needs, and Presumptive Eligibility.
Wisconsin First Step 1-800-642-7837
Parent Specialists provide information and linkages to families of children ages birth to 21 with special needs and to professionals who work with families. Direct referrals are provided to Birth To 3 early intervention programs and to regional Children with Special Health Care Needs (CSHCN) Centers throughout Wisconsin.

Links women to health screening and preventive programs in areas of diabetes, cardiovascular disease, breast and cervical cancer, osteoporosis, domestic abuse, mental health and sexual assault. Direct referrals are provided to county coordinators with the Wisconsin Well Women Program.
Services Hotline for Women, Children, and Families 1-877-855-7296
Serves as a referral point for women considering options regarding their pregnancies. As a part of Act 309, referral information is made available to women prior to making a decision regarding their pregnancies.
